Since 1998 he has dedicated himself to contemporary art where he integrates different media in the production of his work such as painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, sound art and photography. On the other hand, it is focused on the collective project of Sector Reforma (Co-direction: Javier Cárdenas Tavizon, Santino Escatel, Alejandro Fournier) from 2003 to date and its alter ego: Joe From Wisconsin ( 2007 to date).
He integrates different artistic media in the production of his work such as sculpture, video, painting, drawing, installation, photography, graphics, urban art and architecture. Interested in the relationship of art, science, community art and futurism, his work seeks to capture and insert multiple codes and messages in time in relation to his present and vision.
He has taken part in more than 250 exhibitions of contemporary art between individuals, groups and those carried out by the Sector Reforma collective. His work has been exhibited in different museums in the country, among which are the El Eco Experimental Museum, the Carrillo Gil Museum, the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso and Polyforum Siqueiros, among others. It is part of the National System of Creators (SNCA-FONCA 2016-2019).
Alejandro has been the recipient of important awards and scholarships. His work is part of public and private collections in Mexico and abroad such as Artist Pension Trust (APT), Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Galería Metropolitana de la UAM, CDMX, and Museo La Tertulia, Cali, Colombia.
